Len is an experienced pharmaceutical microbiologist with a Doctorate in Microbiology from Pacific Western University, a Master of Science degree in Clinical Microbiology from Wagner College and a Bachelor of Science degree from St John’s University.
The first eight years of Len’s career were spent with FDA at the Brooklyn office. He then spent 11 years with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he rose to Associate Director, Quality Assurance. Len later moved to Schering-Plough Corp., where he held a range of microbiological technical roles, culminating in the position of Director, Worldwide Microbiology Support. He then spent the final years of his industrial life fulfilling similar roles with Pfizer, Inc.
